Email Address not showing in Outlook Address Book

Solution
  1. Log in to Exchange Console
  2. Search for the user under mailbox option
  3. Double click to open user mailbox properties
  4. Make sure Hide from address list is not ticked

NB: In case if the option is not ticked and if you still can’t see the name in address book then tick the box and leave it for 30 minutes

Untick the box after 30 min and wait for another 5- 10 minutes (From my experience)

      5.  Go to outlook, select File and click on Account Settings and open download address book

     6.  Select the Download Changes since last Sent/Receive and Click OK.
    7. Wait for Sync to finish

8.   Now you should be able to see the user in the Outlook address book.

Unable to upload files to datastore - vCenter Server 6.5

Error -   “The operation failed for an undetermined reason. Typically this problem occurs due to certificates that the browser does not trust. If you are using self-signed or custom certificates, open the URL in a new browser tab and accept the certificate, then retry the operation.”

Solution:

Open vCenter Server address in a browser. https://vCenterServerName.DomainName.com, not the complete vSphere web client address.

Click on Download trusted root CA Certificates.
Unzip the download.zip file
Open the folder according to your Operating System

In my case, some of them are already installed, and others are not.
If you have many files in the operating system folder, then sort it according to the file type

Double click on the .crt files and click on Install Certificate

On the ‘Certificate Import Wizard’ , Select Local Machine and click Next

On the Next Screen, Select ‘ Place all Certificate in following Store’ option, and Select Trusted Root Certification Authorities by clicking the browse button.

Click Finish and do the same for the rest of the certificate.

Restart the browser, and you should be able to upload the files.

How to troubleshoot SCCM Task Sequence Deployment Errors

The first thing is to make sure that Command Support is enabled in Boot Image.
Press f8 when you get an error on Task Sequence.
The second thing is that you have to access the smsts.log file from x:\windows\temp\smstslog\smsts.log

Copy the file to a network location
Example:  net use s: \\fileserver\share /user:domain\username password
Copy smsts.log to s:
Delete network Drive – net use s: /delete
Open the file using cmtrace.exe

How to Add network Drivers to Boot Image – MDT 2013 (8450)

You will get the below error message when you don’t have the correct network driver installed
The following networking device did not have a driver installed.
PCI\VEN_15AD&DEV_07B0&SUBSYS_07B015AD&REV_01

The above error is due to missing VMXNET3 driver.
Copy the network card driver from a VM which has VMware tools installed.
Create a folder on local or network drive to copy the file. I have created a folder called Drivers.

Right click on Out-of-box drivers and select import drivers.

Follow the prompts and import the drivers to MDT

Once you finish importing you should be able to see the driver added to the out-of-box driver's section

Update the deployment share and select completely regenerate the boot images.

Once Finish, Goto WDS and update the old boot image either by deleting or replace the old one.
